⚠️ COMMUNITY ALERT: PAVING CONTRACTOR COMPLAINTS ⚠️
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office has received several reports involving a paving crew operating in the area. The group has reportedly contacted residents door-to-door and advertised paving services through Facebook.
Business names associated with the reports include:
• APS
• Road Builders
• Elite Paving
Residents have reported concerns involving misleading information, high-pressure sales tactics, pricing, and the quality or completion of work.
If you have recently conducted business with anyone using these company names, please contact the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office at 218-829-4749. Please save any contracts, receipts, photographs, Facebook advertisements, messages, phone numbers, vehicle descriptions, or other documentation that may assist investigators.
We strongly encourage residents to research contractors, obtain written estimates, verify references, and avoid making immediate decisions when pressured.
To those who come into Crow Wing County intending to deceive or take advantage of our residents: we will investigate these reports, and we will not tolerate our community being targeted.
