📍 Updated Summer Hours at UpNorth Social

As summer gets underway, we're making a few adjustments to our regular hours.

While these are our posted hours, you'll often find the conversation, wine, and charcuterie lingering a little longer. We've always believed great gatherings shouldn't be rushed, and some evenings naturally extend beyond closing time. We love being part of those moments.

This summer is shaping up to be a busy and exciting one, with weddings, showers, bachelorette events, community socials, lake weekends, and celebrations keeping us busy both in our restaurant and out in the community. In addition to catering throughout the Brainerd Lakes Area, we're also available for private events right here at UpNorth Social.

As the season unfolds, our hours may continue to evolve to best serve both our guests in the restaurant and our growing catering and events business.

Thank you for supporting local, gathering with us, and allowing us to be part of so many special moments. We look forward to seeing you soon. 🥂

Not every day we get to cater a golf getaway for 16 guys, but this one was a fun one to cater at a beautiful new lake home!

We kicked things off with a savory-forward grazing spread for the guys to enjoy upon arrival.

The next morning, we sent them off with grab-and-go breakfast bags packed for the day ahead, featuring a mix of protein, house-made items, and a few thoughtful additions to keep things simple and satisfying.

We also partnered with a couple of local favorites to round things out for the grab-n-go:
• Delicious cheddar sausage scones from Crosslake Coffee
• Blueberry maple bacon from Emily Meats Ol' Fashioned Meat Market

UpNorth Social catering is always customizable depending on your group, setting, and style.

Join us tonight for the Camp Knutson Volunteer Social at UpNorth Social!

Whether you're a current volunteer, interested in getting involved, or are looking to learn more about Camp, we'd love to see you there. You can meet and talk with other volunteers, hear stories from camp, and learn about volunteer opportunities. We will also have complimentary charcuterie.

Camp Knutson helps create life-changing camp experiences for children and young adults with identified needs, and volunteers help make that possible.

A little look at what a wedding tasting with UpNorth Social can feel like ✨

This weekend we met with one of our brides for her upcoming lakeside wedding in Crosslake to talk through flavor pairings, presentation ideas, and the overall vision for the day.

These meetings are one of our favorite parts of the planning process because they give us the opportunity to sit down together, talk through product selections, styling details, and all the little touches that make an event feel personal and intentional.

It’s more than just tasting food. It’s getting to know what you’re drawn to, what feels like 𝑦𝑜𝑢, and how we can create an experience that fits seamlessly into your celebration.

From artisan cheese selections and charcuterie pairings to styling details and seasonal touches, every event is thoughtfully curated around your preferences and the atmosphere you want your guests to experience. 🤍

We had the honor of catering Annie and Linda’s book launch at The Loon Center/ The Nest for Back to the Nest Loons Return to Crosslake, and it was such a special evening.

You could feel how meaningful this book is, not just as a launch, but as a celebration of community and the beauty of the lakes we all love.

When the first thing you wake up to the morning after a wedding is a text like this… 🥹🤍

There’s truly nothing better.

This past weekend we had the honor of catering Matt & Meghan’s wedding on beautiful Ox Lake, and it was one of those days that just felt incredibly special from start to finish.

They envisioned something relaxed, welcoming, and thoughtful, a build-your-own sandwich spread (a table for adults and one just for kids) that felt elevated without feeling overly formal. We styled a full grazing-inspired sandwich station with layered meats and cheeses, fresh toppings, signature sandwiches for the bride and groom, rustic textures, wood elements, and cozy details woven throughout the setup. Plus the bride herself baked some delicious cookies and cake pops!

The couple were surrounded by an amazing group of family and friends who showed up for them in the best way. You could feel how loved they are all day long.

The weather was beautiful, the lake setting was perfect, and the entire celebration felt warm, joyful, and incredibly meaningful.

We’re so grateful they trusted UpNorth Social to be part of such an important day, and hearing that guests loved not only the food, but the overall experience and setup, means the world to us.

We’re so grateful to Key Wellness for choosing to host their event with us from 5-7PM tonight!

We wanted to share a little sneak peek of the Balance Board we’re preparing for the event ✨

This menu was designed with intention to complement the conversation around hormones, balance, and overall wellness. Each element on the board was chosen to reflect that, from healthy fats and protein to fresh fruit and a touch of something sweet. It’s all about creating something that feels balanced, satisfying, and supportive of the topics being shared throughout the evening.

Boards will be available for purchase during the event.
