I'm off work for the next two days, which means I'll be working from home. I've got a lot of stuff I need to get done, and later I'll go do laundry. Then I'll be back home to finish up stuff around here. I'll be loading more eggs into the incubator. I was doing well and had about 20 grow-outs going, but then something got them and popped all but five of their heads off, so all hatchlings will be retained. I do have quail eggs going in, and depending on what hatches, I may have some available. If not, then once they start laying, I'll start hatching my own. I wish I could keep all my baby goats; I just love them all. Unfortunately, I don't have room for all of them, so Spike and Cookies, the male twins, will be rehomed once they're fully weaned. Once they hit eight weeks, I'll separate them from their mommas and start the weaning process.

Aren't they sweet all momma's have decided to be good momma this year the lil black and white girl is super tiny even smaller than Gretel was she was having a hard time latching but we finally got her to latch good and cookie is being very attentive to her

I'm now a firm believer check those ligaments Estelle I never could tell but both glacier and cookie kidded within 24-48 hours of losing their ligaments. Now let's see how much milk Ill be getting from then I will be keeping all 3 girls and I really like both cookie and glacier udders they have gotten a lot bigger with their second kidding

And just like that I'm officially done with kidding season cookie gave me another set of twins a girl and a boy the lil girl is tiny tiny and having problems latching so I currently gave her a bottle I was able to get about I was able to get a half ounce down her I will take her out in about 2 hours to try and get her to latch of momma or just to get a lil bit more down her she seems full as she fell asleep

Well my 180 cabinet incubator has been not working so I'll be pulling it out and seeing if I can figure out what's wrong with it hubby thinks it's the whole black box on top so we will work on replacing that first

Well guys I had split 3 dozen eggs between 4 hens and they fought over them all and smashed them 😡😡😡 no more eggs for y'all straight to the incubator they will go
