Cedar Grove Farms we are located at 8602 Cedar Grove Rd. Cross Plains, Tn. Open during summer season for peaches Also all products are available direct on the farm.

We produce locally grown produce which is available on Saturdays at the Farmers Market in Springfield, TN. Also the Portland Tn. Farmers market on Thursday afternoon, during peach season.

I do believe, we have Red Haven peaches ready to be picked, we plan to be open at the farm Tuesday morning, June 16th, for peach sales. We plan to open about 7:A.M. until we sell out. Our price will remain the same it has for the past two years. $6.00 for bag, $11.00 for box. Hope to see you Tuesday morning. People keep asking when will be open at the Farm, we do not know the exact day, depends on the peaches, this year the ripening is off because of the early warm weather in the Spring. We seem to have a good crop of peaches but the schedule is off. Please follow this page on Facebook , it will be posted a day or two in advance when open.

Out first peaches of the season, about 2 weeks early, due to the Summer like spring. We will be at the Portland Farmers Market, Thursday June 11th with some peaches. They are a semi free peach. We only have the small bags for $6.00 each, approx 3 lbs each. See you at the market.

Just a reminder we have heirloon tomatoes, today Saturday, for $1.49 per pound. If you are cooking out this weekend, you will need tomatoes. You can buy 3 pound of tomatoes for the price, of a gallon of gas, think about it. We will also have a few Blue Lake Pole Beans for sale. In conjunction with John’s Greenhouse, next door to Cedar Grove Farms, we will have some heirloom tomatoes, for sale at Cedar Grove Farms, Saturday morning, May 23rd from 8.00A.M. Until sold out, or noon. The price will be $1.49 per pound. You pick the ones you want, as many or one. We have some cherry tomatoes for $1.99 per pound. We also have green tomatoes for fried green tomatoes. These tomatoes are grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizer. 8602 Cedar Grove Rd. Cross Plains, Tn. Update on peaches, They look as if they might be a little early this year, due to the warm weather. Trying to get them thinned and light pruned now. Maybe they will be in mid June or so. Will post when available, a lot of work yet.

Two things have happen in the last couple days, early indication, damage may not be as great to the peaches as was first thought. Monday night the temperature dropped to 24 degrees, but the wind blew just about all night, no frost the wind was the big thing, some orchards use wind machines on cold nights. Tuesday night temp dropped to about 29 degrees, but it was cloudy, so therefore no frost. I check several embryos in the bloom, most look good In a couple more days will check more to see if they will be O.K.
