Save A Lot Crossville SAL History

In January 1984, Lori and I moved to Crossville to open the Save-A- Lot grocery store in the Cumberland Plaza.

I was only 22 at the time. We served the community for 20 years at the corner of Highway 127 and Genesis Road before building the shopping center in 2003 at our current location on Interstate Drive. 2024 will mark 40 years of serving the residents of Cumberland County. Save-A-Lot is honored to be part of the story of so many wonderful families in Cumberland County, not only as a pleasant place to shop but as a great place to work. Several children and grandchildren of those who worked for us in the 80's and 90's have joined our team while completing high school and college courses. Younger ones tell us they look forward to working with us while they continue their education. Our friendly, dedicated employees work hard to provide customers with a bright, clean, fresh, and pleasant place to do their grocery shopping. Daily compliments drive us to continue serving this community, providing you with great food at great prices. Few grocers can say their management team has been with them for 40 years. We don't take that honor for granted. We know we are blessed with a great team and wonderful customers. Thank you for journeying with us as we strive to be your favorite place to shop.
