Welcome to the world, Joey & Josie! šŸ’™šŸ©·

And now the fun begins! We have SO many babies coming over the next couple of weeks. Between the cows, goats, and sheep, we’re about to be in baby heaven around here. šŸ¤Ž

Happy birthday, Joe! I’d say the farm gave you a pretty good birthday present this year.

Apparently my coffee order is now two creams, one sugar, and one horse. ā˜•ļøšŸ“

Lure Pottery I believe Red needs his own horse cup since Clarence has his own!

Coffee apparently ā€œThe Best Part of Wakin’ Upā€ has officially made its way to the barn… and Red would like to submit his application for brand ambassador. šŸ˜‚šŸ“ā˜•ļø

And before the horse police arrive šŸ˜‚ no horses were harmed in the making of this video. There was basically nothing left in the cup… he was just VERY committed to finding that last drop.

šŸ•Šļø Good morning from The Farm

For years, parts of this farm sat still.

Pastures that once held life grew quiet. Fields waited. Dreams were tucked away for another season.

And somehow, over this past year, everything has begun to breathe again.

Soon these pastures will hold new calves. Baby goats will fill fields that haven’t seen them in years. The bees work quietly from bloom to bloom, building something beautiful in places that once felt still.

Everywhere I look, there are signs of life returning.

Maybe that’s why this season feels so sacred to me.

Because I’m realizing that sometimes abundance doesn’t arrive all at once. Sometimes it comes slowly, one fence, one field, one hive, one new life at a time, until you look around and realize the places that sat empty for years are no longer empty at all.

They’re overflowing.

I’ve heard the words ā€œmy cup runneth overā€ my entire life. Words written in Psalm 23 about the goodness of a Shepherd who provides, restores and leads us faithfully.

But I don’t think I truly understood them until now.

Sometimes God’s goodness doesn’t come rushing in. Sometimes He restores slowly, faithfully, season by season, until one day you look around and realize He has filled the places that once felt empty.

What stood still for years is flowing with life again.

And my cup… it runneth over. ā¤ļø

Men’s Fellowship is about more than getting together. It’s a place for men to build real friendships, encourage one another, grow stronger in their faith, and walk through life alongside other men who understand the journey.

Come as you are. Bring a friend. There’s a place for you at the table.

In almost 27 years, there hasn’t been an animal on this side of the farm… until today. 🄹

I joke around a lot and make light of the hard work, but this one truly means something. Getting this side of the farm fenced, ready, and finally able to hold livestock was a HUGE accomplishment for us.

And the timing couldn’t be sweeter we’re expecting calves in the next couple of weeks. ā¤ļø

Sometimes progress looks like a brand new fence and cows where there have never been cows before. ā¤ļø

The lessons we teach them today may one day become the foundation their own families are built upon. ā¤ļø

Friday at the Crossroads never disappoints, and I’m so proud of these kids and all the hard work they continue to put in. Watching them learn, create, work together, and take pride in something they’ve grown and made with their own hands is what this is all about.

Morning Sage, thank you for always welcoming us and allowing these kids to set up in front of your store. We’re so grateful for your support of what we’re building. šŸŒ»ā¤ļø

As of yesterday, school is officially back in session at Real McCoy Farms! šŸŽšŸŒ»

Enjoy this special song written by my mom (Kim). She somehow managed to capture the heart of our homeschool journey in a way only a mama could. Here’s to year 8 and all the lessons, memories, and adventures ahead. ā¤ļø

A special thank you to Jason Bour and his beautiful wife, Chris, for allowing my husband and I to tag along as they harvested honey from their hives and walked us through the entire extraction process. As brand new beekeepers, that kind of hands on experience is absolutely invaluable. I learn so much better by seeing and doing than by simply reading about it, and they were incredibly generous with their time, knowledge, and patience. We came away with a much better understanding of this part of beekeeping. Now our biggest goal is making sure we can keep our bees healthy through the winter so that, hopefully, we will be harvesting honey of our own next season. Thank you both for investing in two novice beekeepers. We are truly grateful! šŸšŸÆ

A little update from Real McCoy Farms… šŸ¤

A few months ago, our farm page was hacked, making it difficult to stay connected with everyone and keep you updated on what was happening behind the scenes. Instead of letting that season slow us down, we decided to use it to push forward on a vision we’ve had from the very beginning.

From the start, our heart has been to teach and preserve the lost arts of canning, baking, homesteading, and self sufficiency. While we had already begun offering classes, we knew our teaching kitchen wasn’t quite ready. So we rolled up our sleeves and got to work creating the space we’d always dreamed of.

Along the way, we also made the decision to close our nursery and retail store. We realized our passion and what so many of you have been asking for, isn’t simply a place to shop. It’s a place to gather, learn, and carry these traditions forward. That calling has become the heart of Real McCoy Farms, and we’re excited to fully embrace it.

Now we’re almost there! The walls are up, the ceiling is next, and we’re planning to reopen once the kitchen is finished..

Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s going on inside. We can’t wait to open our doors, welcome you into our new canning and teaching kitchen, and share these timeless skills with you.

Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for continuing to support Real McCoy Farms. We truly believe the best is yet to come, and we can’t wait to share this next chapter with all of you. šŸ¤
