This girl is still too thin for my liking. But she is really special. Romana had the worst case of barber pole . Her famacha score was fatal white. Her score now is 3.
She needs weight on but she's improving all the time. I dewormed her. Waited 10 days. Dewormed again and gave her iron pellets daily for a couple weeks.
I was really worried about her condition under her fiber. But she looks way better than the last shearing.
I've never had a goat come back from barber pole that bad.

Baby Linus finally got sheared! I've been checking the weather and it keeps raining when I need to shear. Tomorrow will be clear but may rain Sat. So I planned to get two done tomorrow. Well...I couldn't stand thinking about Linus in that heavy coat a moment longer. So I did him this evening. Probably by best effort yet! Much less choppy looking.
