Saturday at the Madison City Farmers Market we will have strawberries, onions, and potatoes. We will have a limited amount of green beans and squash. If you want either be there at 8 they won't last long.
We are starting to get some of our summer vegetables coming in and soon our other fruits will start coming in. For our farm to be financially sustainable it has to be profitable. So we have to determine how much we will charge for our summer produce. I don't want to increase my prices. I know many people are having a hard time with inflation. I don't want to lose customers, but I have to be profitable to continue. It's a fine line we have to walk right now. I have no idea how much further the price of food from the grocery store will go up. I do know exactly how much the cost to grow food has went up. It's a lot. It's significant. Many things cost double to produce this year as compared to last. I can't think of anything that the cost of production hasn't increased by at least 50%. Don't worry we won't double our prices. Just know we have to pass part of the inflation of input cost on to the customers. As always we will do our best with quality control and giving good measure for what you are paying. Thanks for understanding.

It's strawberry season!!!
Our market schedule is not set yet, but here is our early season plan for now while we wait to hear from a couple of markets on their finalized plans.
Madison City every Saturday from 8-12
Prices in Madison will be $17 a gallon $10 on the half gallon, and $6 on quarts.
Starting in May we will be at the Albertville Downtown Market on Tuesdays afternoons from 3-6.
Prices in Albertville will $16 a gallon, $9 a half gallon.
We will be open at the house this Tuesday(19th) morning then starting April 25th with limited supplies on Mondays and Wednesdays and any other time we have enough to be open. Farm price will be $15 a gallon and $9 on half gallons. We will put the signs up when we are open and take them down when we run out. Prices are up this year because our input prices have nearly doubled.

Our plans for now for the rest of the summer is to attend the Albertville Farmers Market on Tuesday mornings from 8-11 and the Madison City Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8-12. We will have lots of vegetables this year but almost no peaches. We are also open at the farm from 10 to 6. I am currently working a full time job that does not allow for me to be available by phone so please text the night before if you want something specific. I will post each Sunday what is available at the farm that week. Sorry we are not able to attend more markets this year. Hopefully we can return next year to others if the peaches make.

Some of the things we will have later this summer will be corn, peas, tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, watermelon, green beans, October beans, cantaloupes, okra, cucumbers, grapes, bell and jalapeno peppers.
