Dear friends and neighbors of Whispering Homestead!

The summer sun is finally warming the fields here at the homestead, and everything is in full, vibrant growth. It is a busy and joyful time, where the seeds we planted in the spring are now turning into the fresh life of the season. We want you to be a part of it.

Our ducks and chickens are thriving in the warm June weather. Pre-orders for our pasture-raised ducks are officially open – fresh, healthy, and enjoying plenty of space to roam and grow.

The greenhouse is buzzing with life! We are currently tending to our summer crops and preparing everything for the weeks ahead. We will keep you updated on our harvest schedule so you know exactly when our freshest summer produce is ready for the market and our farm stand. If you missed our tent at the Wednesday RBC Market lately, here is a peek behind the scenes:

The greenhouse is officially ready, and we are diving headfirst into planting a massive, vibrant crop of fall mums.
Note: There is no need to pre-order mums at this time! Once they are full, blooming, and beautiful, we will be taking them straight to market as well as selling them directly right here at the farm. We'll let you know the second they are ready!

WEDNESDAY: RBC Market Wont be there due to planting mums

Good morning from Whispering Homestead!

We are packed up and headed to the Madison City Farmers Market this Saturday from 8–12. 🌿🍓
This week’s specialty treats are: 🍓 Strawberry Rhubarb Bars
🥐 Fresh Fruit Braids
🍓 Homemade Jam made with organic raw sugar

We’ll also have a beautiful selection of freshly baked breads made with freshly milled flour, sourdough sandwich loaves, sweet baked goods, and chemical-free produce fresh from the farm.

There’s nothing quite like fresh local food made with simple ingredients you can recognize and trust. Come early for the best selection and stop by to say hello — we always love seeing familiar faces and meeting new friends!
