The flowers and these country sunsets are just too pretty not to share.

So, we’re having a little Sunset U-Pick this Thursday night at the farm.

Come wander through the flowers, fill your cup with your favorites, sip some fresh lemonade, come meet Prune, and stay awhile to watch the sun go down.

Thursday, September 3 | 6:00–7:30 PM
$25 per person

🌸 One U-Pick flower cup
🍋 Fresh lemonade
✂️ Clippers provided
🐷 A visit with Prune
🌅 And hopefully one of these beautiful country sunsets

***Each $25 ticket includes admission for one guest, one U-Pick cup and a lemonade. Non-picking guests are $5; children 5 & under are free. ( All guests must be included in the reservation)

So today… we’re celebrating with $5 OFF every bouquet at The Flower Bed. 💐

That makes our $25 bouquets just $20 each and there’s some of our flower purses too! Grab one for your table and one to make somebody’s day, flowers are the perfect “I was thinking of you” gift.

I did say.. “y’all come see us” earlier in my post today… and this car pulled right in front of my stand. I looked up, caught a glance and then my mama heart might have done some cartwheels. I got to see my baby!

My girl, stopping by on her way through town on her way back home, just tickled me to pieces. We had us a little hugging party in front of the Flower Bed and it might’ve gotten a little loud and crazy for a minute and to think that was only half of my kiddos there. ( I gave birth to a party, y’all! 😂)

Good morning!!! It’s going to be a beautiful day!

The Flower Bed is hittin’ the road today but don’t you worry, we left our local flower lovers some we’ve especially picked out for y’all!

If you wanna come see us, we will be Salon 256 in Rainsville for their 1 year celebration. There will be doorprizes and a lot more vendors. Y’all come say hey… it’s from 1:00-4:00!

I’m just an old soul with a heart for old things and treasures. I love all the granny hobbies, but quilting has always been especially dear to me. When I can’t play in the flowers during the winter months , I try to get my hands on some good floral fabrics and quilt, although I’m getting behind with a wedding and new grandbaby within about a years time! 😅🤣

The winter before I started my flower farm, I found this old quilt online. I didn’t know her story, but I knew right then it needed to come live on the flower farm with me. We’ve made lots of memories so far. I take it to most of my events and pop-ups and it makes an appearance on the farm from time to time. I have had people ask to buy her and even think it was a bunch ice cream cones! I do love ice cream… but not as much as flowers. Ha! Made with 1930s fabrics, every block is a dainty little bouquet.

It was my first big purchase for the farm and maybe even a little conversation piece or good luck charm for all our adventures to be had.

Flowers, old quilts and things with a story… that’s the heart behind Windy Knoll Flower Farm and the good Lord knows, there was already plenty of stories here at the old home place.
