Here's the wedding cake that I've worked on for the last three weeks. Congratulations to the happy couple, Ashley and Ethan!

Today's cake preparations included making 8 double batches of buttercream icing:

16 pounds of confectioners sugar
16 cups of Crisco
1 quart of whipping cream
16 tablespoons of meringue powder
16 teaspoons of flavorings
16 pinches of salt

This equaled:
1 - 14 inch round tier
1 -12 inch round tier
1 - 10 inch round tier
1 - 8 inch round tier
1 - 6 inch round smash cake
1 - 8 inch 3 layer cake

Now, preparing for tomorrow's tasks.....
