Wonderful Wyoming Honey

Wonderful Wyoming Honey Honey Sales and Pollination Services Now open! The Honey House in downtown Dubois! If you have a honey emergency you can still call the ranch to have it shipped!

Wonderful Wyoming Honey is a family owned and operated business based in the Upper Wind River Valley. For 3 generations, our family has harvested honey from the hay fields of Crowheart, to the mountain meadows of Jackson Hole and Dubois, Wyoming. Our bees produce a grade "A" honey with a very light taste and a smooth, naturally creamy texture. Our bees stay happily busy year round, summering in th

e mountains of Wyoming and wintering in Northern California, pollinating the almond orchards. We sell raw and pasteurized honey along with other related items like bee's wax, honey sticks, and barbecue sauce. We can ship our products anywhere in the United States. If you stop by "the Honey House" in July or August, you may get a glimpse of the uncapping and extraction process, be sure to taste some fresh honey comb!

Hi honey lovers! 🍯🐝

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about why some of our honey is so hard, so we wanted to explain!

The honey we sell in our 3 lb and 5 lb plastic tubs, as well as our smaller glass jars, is raw, unfiltered honey. After extraction, the honey is stored in a cool basement until it fully granulates.

What makes it so creamy is that the honey crystals are extremely fine and the moisture content is very low — creating that smooth, magical texture everyone loves. Sometimes the honey becomes very firm, which actually means the moisture content is even lower, making it some of the purest honey you can find.

If you’d like to soften it a bit, here are the best methods:
• Microwave in 30-second intervals (not the best way)
• Or use a light double boil on low heat

The two biggest things that can ruin honey are:

Adding moisture
Overheating

When heating honey, try not to keep it above 175°F for long periods of time, as excessive heat can reduce its nutritional benefits.

Our liquid honey is the exact same honey — it’s simply heated once to about 155°F before bottling. This delays the granulation process and keeps it liquid longer.

If you have any questions, please let us know!

Thank you all for your support. Enjoy your honey and enjoy your summer! ☀️🍯
