The 2012/2013 kidding season has begun!! This evening we welcomed an awesome set of twin bucks to the farm :) Pictures will be added soon as more kids are born! Congratulations to Alyssa Cremeens and her market wether, Rocky, for winning her class and the Light Weight Division at the Gallia County Jr Fair!! AND for receiving the honor of RESERVE CHAMPION for the 2nd year in a row!!! :) Alyssa also received 2nd place in her showmanship class!

Congratulations to Kristin Elliott for winning her class and recieving 3rd overall at the Pickaway County Fair in Ohio!! We would also like to wish all of our exhibitors good luck at their county fairs this year. And don't forget to look for Stoney Creek Farm market goats and breeding does at the Jackson County OH Fair, Gallia County Jr Fair in OH, Ross County OH Fair, and the Hartford Fair in Ohio!!! :)

Springtime is in full swing here on the farm and we are definitely ready for some warm weather! The January kids have all been successfully weaned and the does are happy to be out on pasture. :) We also have several really nice wethers left and some good quality does if you are still in need of a goat for the 2012 show season. Dehorned billies-check, CD and T shots given-check, all 2012 kids tagged- check, and all goats dewormed-check! We had a busy weekend here at the farm and the goats are all looking good. This year we have had some of the best kids that we have ever had. We will be opening up the barn in February for sales, so give us a call at (740)-256-1262 or (740)-794-1215 to schedule an appointment to come take a look at the goats we have for sale including: 4-H wethers, show quality doe kids, bred yearlings, and bred two year olds. We are looking forward to seeing old friends and new in the coming months! :)

It's that time of year again!! :) This week the does are getting ready to kid and we cannot wait for the kids to arrive. We will be having fair wethers and good quality doe kids for sale in the coming weeks, as well as some bred yearlings and two year olds. Kidding season has begun! We woke up to find these two pretty kids in the barn this morning and I am happy to report that they are doing great! We can't wait for the others to arrive in a few weeks. :)
