We are done digging potatoes for now and wow- we had a bumper crop of these amazing potatoes! We have big potatoes, medium sized potatoes and little potatoes!

We used to dig all of our potatoes by hand and then we used the forks on the tractor and we finally invested in a potato harvester. There are definitely attachments we can get to make this job yet easier, but you can see how cool this tool is! I think this is one of my favorite pieces of machinery- ever!

Are you dreaming of your fall garden already? Are you preparing to plant radishes, broccoli, kohlrabi and all those other delicious fall vegetables?

Are you worried about the frost? If so, I have a solution for you! Row cover. If anybody is in need of row cover, we have lots of very small pieces that we need to part with. I would rather offer them to our followers rather than just dispose of them.

We can't use them anymore because they are in sections of 25 ft or have holes in them every 25 ft or so. I will also sell you hoops if you are interested for a small cost. DM me if you're interested. Feel free to share with your other gardening, friends and neighbors!

Meat from non stressed animals is more tender.

We have only a couple of pasture raised Berkshire pigs available for your freezer! Meat can be ready from September-December at Avon in Darlington, WI. (And you can stop at the Rollei cheese store while you are there). We sell halves and whole pigs. DM me for pricing. Deposit required.

Hey everyone, it's been about 60 days since I've posted. Life is busy but good. Everything's keeping me really busy. And social media is not at the top of my to-do list. If you're looking for produce or eggs, shoot me a message and I will absolutely get back to you!
If you're looking for produce, we have garlic, cherry tomatoes, radishes, Swiss chard, lots of herbs, lettuce and some beets ready.

If you're looking for eggs, let me know when you would like to pick them up. $4/doz. They have the gold yolks.

If you're looking to buy pork, we are looking for a couple of people to buy 1/2 or whole pigs for their freezers. Shoot me a message and I can give you pricing on a pig. It is Berkshire pork. It's truly the BEST pork you will ever have! Processing can be at Weber's in Cuba City and Avon in Darlington.

In the meantime, you can watch some chickens, eating some lettuce. They enjoy Monday nights when we give them fresh lettuce. Lettuce that we can't sell our customers because it's too flawed.

It's world bee day. Every year we buy bees to help pollinate our vegetables. This past weekend we installed our new bees! Here's to hoping that their colony thrives this year and into the next!

Surprise!!!
Look what we will have in limited quantities for the next few weeks as production ramps up!
We have added a few beets with tops for you! Also, if you missed out on any of our lettuce we added some one of those too.

And guess what else! And a sneak peak... Rainbow carrots are almost ready too! Woo!

The piggies have arrived!!! The pigs are here!
If anyone is interested in pasture raised Berkshire pork, we again will be offering halves, wholes, and cuts of our premium pork! Locker dates start in August and continue through December at Avon Locker in Darlington or at Webers in Cuba City.

We know purchasing 1/2 or whole pig is an investment, but it's an investment in a high quality product you will enjoy for the next year- plus you will know where your food comes from. We've even had a few people come meet their pig to see that it truly was given the best life it could have had! Look, they are already smiling in their sleep because they are so happy!
