A beautiful couple experiencing the love for each other is a blessing. We were privileged to be a little part of Dunncan and Savannah’s first day as Mr. And Mrs. Rogers. Traveling was not a problem and the gorgeous weather was a setting for the evening. What was amazing to me hit me when Dunncan’s Grandpa Lloyd Lapp lead us before dinner with a blessing…@
I remembered what nice neighbors Una and Harold Lapp were to my Grandparents- Ernest and Marjorie Daniel. They were married September 1, 1926 and now 100 years later we joined our friends with food and friendship for this beautiful couple. I am blessed to have worked with so many outstanding linemen and friends. We took a few pictures that warmed my heart. The three little brothers I really like to spoil with treats!

1976 was a good year for these graduates from McCook High School! I could tell from the friendships and good time they had last night at their 50 year high school reunion! .85 cent hamburgers were the hit at Mac’s Drive In. Thank you for having Marlene’s kitchen cater your dinner last evening! We sure enjoyed it.

Last evening while I was mowing I thought how great our new irrigation system and sod look! Thank you to Bob Chalupa for doing a fantastic job! Little did I know it would be a drought this spring so the investment was a wise one!

Happy Birthday Steve! It’s always a pleasure to host a special occasion for families. Marlene’s Kitchen served Oven fried chicken, roast beef, cheesy potatoes, tossed salad, broccoli salad and rolls and butter for this family tonight! Steve served as a County Commissioner in Red Willow Co. for 20 years. He reminded me that I performed his oath of office to his first term of County Government 26 years ago when I was the Clerk Magistrate. Fun memories with the birthday guest!
