Happy Birthday Steve! It’s always a pleasure to host a special occasion for families. Marlene’s Kitchen served Oven fried chicken, roast beef, cheesy potatoes, tossed salad, broccoli salad and rolls and butter for this family tonight! Steve served as a County Commissioner in Red Willow Co. for 20 years. He reminded me that I performed his oath of office to his first term of County Government 26 years ago when I was the Clerk Magistrate. Fun memories with the birthday guest!

Prom season has just started and our first one to cater was a success. Thank you to Mrs. Walker and her husband Grant Walker for the gracious hospitality! We always enjoy prom memories. Times have sure changed ❤️❤️.

Some catering jobs are an honor to serve. Those who serve the public in emergency services deserve to sit down to enjoy a steak dinner and reflect on the many good deeds they serve over the years. Honored folks included a true gentleman- Richard Durham for 35 years of years. Thank you Richard. Others were new EMT’s and additional firefighters. What would small communities do without them!! Thanks to the Palisade Legion and Alan Baxter for your hospitality!

A photo popped up on my page from 3 years ago. It made me smile of how excited I was, how happy that I done something new in business and the challenge we met. It come with alot of help, sweat and hard work. It wasn’t easy nor forgotten of friends that made it possible. For the young folks- go for your goals and dreams. You won’t regret it.

2026 has started off busier than most years. We aren’t retiring the cooking or slowing down yet. This weekend we served a medical business on Saturday night and tonight it was fun to serve the Women’s College basketball team! Teammates included ladies from Ireland, Switzerland and my hometown right here in NE.
We also booked another wedding for 2026.
New type of services we are going to offer will be coming very soon. Thank you to our customers for your continued business!

November 15th isn’t always nice weather but God is good to us and we all enjoyed the gorgeous wedding Saturday. New sod and a new Mr. And Mrs. ! Congratulations to you both❤️❤️. I’m glad you enjoyed the monster cookies with your wedding dinner!
