David Millette has been removed from being anadmin and is being banned/removed completely for violating one of the group rules. That rule being NO POLITICS. David Millette as caught targeting people for their political views that were only expressed on their personal pages, not in the group. He was harassing a girl for her views going on people pag s calling them nutcases on posts that expressed their views. YOU VAN HAVE ANY VIEWS YOU WANT, BUT POLITICS IS NOT ALLOWED IN THIS GROUP. AND DAVID PASSED JUDGMENT ON PEOPLE FOR CONTENT ON THEIR PERSONAL PAGES BECAUSE OF HIS POLITICAL VIEWS.
I'm disgusted that he stooped to those levels. If you feel you were targeted by my former admin for any reason, message me privately here, or on my primary account Amy Elizabeth Frillman tell me everything and send me any screenshots you can, and I'll work on fixing things.
I also caught his this week deleting posts I made to the group for the members, things like group rules reminder posts,and turned off commenting on some of my posts. Everything seemed fine until this week. Then I got confirmation of him harassing someone for information only available on a members private page.
Running a group like this, you can't pass judgement on members based on your beliefs, you have to operate without bias, separate from your personal views.
I don't care who anyone does or doesn't support, but don't post in the group about it, and don't go after people for a different viewpoint. What you post on your page or your profile picture, is your business. Not mine. Not other members. Not admins. Not moderators. It's your business what's on your page and your profile pictures and you can post whatever you like on your personal accounts
(as long as you don't have nudity or anything supportive of chomos -map flags and such- in your profile picture, we're good)
guess it's a good time to tell everyone to review the group rules again since a former admin just got banned for violating a couple group rules.
I'm going to look for a few people to try out as moderators (less ability than admins) and hopefully I'll eventually be able to move some to the admin role, but I'm not going to tolerate rule breaking from those who are supposed to help me keep scammers out. That's the primary function for an admin or moderator to this group. Find and ban scammers. I've got a lot going on right now, extra work and important projects I've got to get done before it starts getting too cold, so I could use some help keeping up with removing scammers. Maybe a couple of y'all who have been great about tagging me when you find scammers? But when I have time, I'll be reviewing the things moderators I select, do so if any funny business happens, they can get kicked too. If a moderator (or eventually admin when I give someone that chance) breaks group rules or goes on a power trip, and you catching it before I do, please let me know so I can shut it down. Currently David is in my inbox flipping out like a child because I called him out for breaking group rules and harassing members, I'd recommend blocking him from your personal pages as well. He definitely went on a power trip taking advantage of me being so busy, but he's gone now.
