We have an eleven year old! Walt turned 11 last week. He is brave and kind, curious and inquisitive. He is always asking big questions, always moving, exploring, experiencing life fully…. He has a strong sense of justice and isn’t afraid to call out when something doesn’t feel right. He is the life of the party and brings light and fun wherever he goes. Sometimes people misunderstand his high energy, but he has a reason for his actions and he is full of purpose. We love his bold spirit and are proud of the young man he is becoming.

2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse—often linked with courage, independence, and momentum. Watching Henry lead this horse feels like a living picture of that strength: steady hands, growing confidence, and a willingness and determination to move forward with purpose. As Christ followers, we trust that God alone holds time and meaning. Cultural symbols don’t define us, but they can help us notice the rhythms of the creation He designed. Is there such a thing as too many books???Organizing the shelves before we make space for Christmas decór! My kids think this is Thanksgiving break torture.
