Giving our hunters the best possible dove hunting experience in Middle Georgia and sharing a fun 2015 season with new and old friends. Pricing for 2015 will be per hunt:
$125 / gun for opening day weekend which includes a BBQ lunch on Saturday 9/5 and an afternoon dove hunt along with a morning dove hunt on Labor Day Monday 9/7 (dawn to noon).
$60 / gun for either of the following two Saturdays (
9/12 and 9/19).
$50 / gun for any hunts in season 2 or 3 (we will schedule these closer to time depending on if there are birds migrating or not. Underage hunters sitting with a paying hunter are free. Alcohol is not allowed on the field during the hunt. We have 3 fields totaling 85 acres that will be available to hunt. All three fields have strips of sunflowers approximately 30 feet wide separated by strips of dove proso and brown top millet that are 60 yards wide. Blinds will be round bales of the millet hay. Our preparation is not your standard millet planting that will be harvested for hay in one shot. We are planting over 1/3 of the bottomland field in sunflowers and the rest in millet. Strips will be harvested throughout the season to attract more birds each weekend. We are keeping pond banks mowed to provide safe watering areas for these birds. Finally, we have built a (non-functional) power line through the middle of the largest field to provide landing places for birds. We hope you will join us!
