This 100% Nerello Mascalese (a red grape) vinified as white is extraordinary… made by in Mt. Etna, Sicily… this wine is dry and mineral with notes of citrus, saline, stone fruit, and a nice savory touch. Super refreshing and bright.

Another gem in the Virginia wine industry… Spark 2019 by Hark Vineyards … an elegant, smooth and earthy blend that reflects clearly the importance of location and terroir in Virginia. This blend of 46% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot and 24% Petit Verdot shows beautiful notes of fresh black and red berries, to***co, a hint of peppercorn and subtle green bell pepper, all complemented with a great balance and structure… and only 325 cases produced 😳… grab a bottle now fellow winos, cheers!

Made a Chambord Manhattan Cocktail today… delightful!

INGREDIENTS
2 oz. rye whiskey or bourbon
¾ oz. Sweet Vermouth
¼ oz. Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur
1 dash orange bitters

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled.

2. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with fresh raspberries.
