✨🧽 A LITTLE TLC FOR OUR BABY! 🧽✨

Our food trailer has been through A LOT these past few months! Between back-to-back events, record-breaking weekends, and preparing for my surgery, Corey and I were running nonstop! We barely had time to catch our breath, let alone give our baby the deep cleaning she deserved! 😅

And now, with me recovering from surgery, tackling that job ourselves just wasn’t an option.

ENTER… Queen of Clean LLC! 👑🧼

We reached out to this amazing local cleaning business, and let me tell you… SHE UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! 👏👏👏

She came in, worked her magic, and gave our trailer the royal treatment! Every nook, every cranny… SPOTLESS! ✨

Y’ALL!!! OUR BABY LOOKS BRAND NEW AGAIN!!! 😍❤️

As small business owners ourselves, we absolutely LOVE supporting other local businesses, especially when they take such pride in their work!

A HUGE thank you to Queen of Clean LLC for taking such incredible care of our baby while we’re unable to do it ourselves. You truly went above and beyond, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! 🥹❤️

No days off! If you’ve been following Ms Lea, you know she’s confined to recovery for her shoulder surgery. She’s more than ready to get back to work and feed us! Super fun to work with! Meanwhile, I’m over here recovering from doing my physical therapy homework, questioning all my life choices, and trying to convince my shoulder that we’re on the same team. 😩💪

And Miso? Sleeping like she just worked a 12-hour shift, paid all the bills, and did MY exercises for me. 💤🐶

Well, I survived my first physical therapy session! 🎉💪🏼

And all I have to say is… OW, OW, OW.
😩😂

Apparently, my shoulder and I have VERY different opinions about what constitutes “gentle movement.” 🤦🏻‍♀️

And to make things even more exciting, I’ve been told I can’t lift anything heavier than a COFFEE CUP. ☕️

A coffee cup. Seriously?! I’ve gone from slinging 80-pound cases of meat to being defeated by a Stanley tumbler. 🤣

One session down… and apparently, my new superpower is lifting absolutely NOTHING. 🫠😂

Well, apparently my shoulder and I have VERY different opinions about how well recovery is going! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

My sutures were removed on Monday, and yesterday I was feeling GREAT! So great, in fact, that I decided to wash two loads of towels, fold them, AND put them away. 💪🏼

Look at me being all productive and independent! 😂

I thought I was doing just fine.

Until I wasn’t. 😩

I woke up this morning with EXCRUCIATING soreness and a swollen shoulder. Apparently, my shoulder did NOT appreciate my little burst of domestic ambition. 🫠

So, lesson learned. Just because I feel like I can do something doesn’t mean I should do it. Clearly, I’m not nearly as far along in my recovery as I thought I was.

Recovery: 1. Me: 0. 🤣

BUT… in the middle of all this pain and self-inflicted misery, my day got a whole lot sweeter! ❤️

I was surprised with a very special treat. And not just ANY treat… my absolute FAVORITE cake from my absolute FAVORITE baker! 🎂🥹❤️

Muff's Sweet Treats and More, THANK YOU!!! You have no idea how much that thoughtful surprise brightened my day. Sometimes it’s the sweetest gestures that remind us just how blessed we are to have such wonderful people in our lives. 🥰

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be over here eating cake, icing my shoulder, and trying to remember that I’m supposed to be recovering… not auditioning for the housekeeping Olympics! 🤣❤️
