The rain brought “fairy rings” into our therapeutic ring. 🍄🧚‍♀️

Look closely. What shapes do you see?

In this space, therapy work is co-created by the land, the horses, and each person who steps into the ring. Clients are not passive in the process. Their breath, movement, presence, choices, and stories all become part of the organic, embodied medicine that unfolds here.

Healing often begins beneath the surface before it becomes visible

And sometimes, what moves beneath the surface becomes visible in the ring 🐴❤️‍🩹

We are excited to welcome two counseling interns from Liberty University to our team at Horse & Soul Counseling!

In the counseling field, interns are graduate-level clinicians completing advanced clinical training as part of their Master’s degree program. During this stage, interns begin working directly with you while developing hands-on experience in assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic skills, ethics, and professional growth.

A clinical supervisor’s role is to guide, support, and oversee the intern throughout the entire process to help ensure quality care and development as a clinician.

Throughout each session, Tara Higgins, MA, LPC will be actively monitoring, supervising, and supporting the therapeutic process while remaining involved in each client and family’s healing journey.

We are honored to continue creating opportunities for growth, healing, and learning within our practice and community.

We want to thank Unionville Florist for their beautiful arrangements of flowers for our very own HIGHSCHOOL GRADUATE. Congratulations to all the 🍊 OCHS 🍊 Seniors who are graduating in 2026!!!

Cheers to ours who climbed up on her horse for the first time in 6 weeks as she continues to heal from her broken leg!! We are also proud of the scholarships she earned to help pay her way through sonography school!! Let’s also acknowledge her business High Roller Performance Horses and Training LLC !!! Not many 18 year olds can say they already have a thriving business.

We are super proud around the farm this week 🙏🏼🩷🙏🏼 God is good !!!

🙏🏼🙏🏼UPDATE due to an amazing neighbor who put our dogs in her car and brought them home!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 They are safe and sound and back to the farm where they belong !!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
