Gloria's Cake & Candy Supplies Gloria’s has new owners and is now OPEN!! Come on down! So excited to see everyone! Gloria Alvarez started the shop in 1972. Hope to see you soon.

We are a longstanding, small, family, minority, woman owned business serving both our neighborhood and wider baking community. Her niece took over ownership June 2016, subsequently closing the end of 2023 due to the economic stress of three years of pandemic and a year of entertainment strikes. THANK GOD for Tom & Crystal Meredith who have purchased the inventory & brand name and are reopening Gloria's under new ownership, in a new location. THANK YOU - all of our long time customers for staying loyal and following us to our new location, and we want to WELCOME all our new customers and followers! We are here to help you, answer your questions, offer ideas....your success is our success.

We are incredibly honored to receive a Certificate of Recognition from the California State Senate and Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas in recognition of Gloria’s Cake & Candy Supplies’ service to the Los Angeles community.

This recognition belongs to all of you; our customers, friends and neighbors who continue to shop with us, recommend us and trust Gloria’s to be part of your birthdays, weddings, holidays and other special celebrations.

Every purchase, visit, kind word and social media share helps keep a local small business going. Your support allows us to continue doing what we love: providing the supplies, ingredients and inspiration that help bring people together.

From our entire Gloria’s family, thank you for supporting our small business and being such an important part of our story. We are deeply grateful. ❤️
