Conventional juicers used
at juice bars and home are centrifugal juicers. They use a blade that spins at over 10 thousand RPM to cut and twist produce. In this process, the molecular structure is obliterated and heat from friction is introduced, killing off a majority of the mineral and enzyme content. Also, air is pulled into the juice as a result of the ‘centrifuge’ extraction, which starts immediate oxidation to the final product. The result is a frothy, barely living vegetable frappe that turns brown and looses nutrients within 30 minutes. Through slow pressing (80 RPM) and magnetic gear technology, we are able to retain 100% of the nourishing qualities of the juice, and because air is not pulled through the juice, it lasts for up to 96 hours (4 days) in its vacuum packed, 16oz glass bottles.
