Our time has come to a end, my own personal love for farming has taken a hit. It’s not the same, profits shrinking,bu****it companies greenwashing, and our ability to continue to provide good food at a affordable price everyone can afford. Thank you to everyone who has supported us from the start!

We aren’t going away all the way through, we are doubling down on our processing plant, which we believe is a bigger need then raising the animals. Our goal is to have a usda mobile processing and cut trailer by 2025. But I can’t keep up with the farm and the trailer so we have sold the farm and will be focusing on processing.

From the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone for the support from a 17 year old with a dream to a 28 year old that did everything I dreamed off. It’s been one interesting ride and I’m excited for the future.

Why all feed isn’t the same(long post for farmers). Recently had a different feed company(no I won’t share name, they haven’t done anything bad) reached out and said they’d love to work with us. Always down to give anyone a chance. The labels match almost exactly to our current feed, however one of the BIGGEST things is palatability. Simply how the animals taste the food. Woke up to feed all other the floor and intake per bird way down. The birds simply don’t enjoy this feed. Nutrition is there but if they don’t enjoy eating it what’s the point. We’ve had the most expensive feed have the same outcome and some of the least expensive be eaten at a insane rate. Each farm each animal each system is different. Use other peoples broad idea and then hone it down to your exact farm needs.

Annoyed Cameron, big ag has done a very good job. When you spends millions on marketing it works, and it sucks. Found out we lost a bakery because they’re looking for “organic” and I get it. People will pay more because the consumer thinks it’s better. We aren’t organic because we won’t pay the thousands of dollars for some bu****it label. We care fare more about the welfare of the animal and organic would be a insult to what we do. It’s not the fault of the consumer but a good job to big ag. Getting a small farmers account dropped because you(big ag) did very well at marketing. It won’t stop us, we’ll continue to spread awareness. Shop small, shop local. Have that conversation with your restaurants,bakery’s, and grocery stores. Tell them you’d rather see local farms, owned and run by people you know. It matters , it’s how we fight against unlimited marketing budgets. You’ve all seen my videos my lives of our chickens, this picture is a OREGON organic farm 50X400 house and if you look WAY in the back that’s one door ONE door that’s meets the requirements, this is your organic egg! Tell me how this is better?

2024 whole chicken pre orders. $10/bird to save your spot and it will guarantee you a whole chicken from our first batch of birds(mid may) or you pick any other date later in the year. As many of you know it was very hard to get a whole bird last year and we feel like this is an amazing way to help us get a head start on how many birds to grow next year! You can preorder as many as you would like, however only got to open up a couple hundred spots for preorder. The final price will be $5.25/lb and the $10 preorder will be taken off the final price. Message us and we will send a deposit form.

Help needed! Our summer crew is heading out so looking for a couple hands this fall. Oct 15-19 and Nov 11-14. These are our last large processing days of the year. We’ll be processing a few thousands bird each week. Looking for anyone who’s wanting to learn and work. This could lead to move processing jobs in the spring and summer! Please share!!!!
