After 16 months we finally have our land back. In March of 2025 we lost use of nearly 8 acres due to construction of a Natural Gas pipeline through our ranch. This afternoon they finally got our fences fixed and we were able to put our cows on the waist high grass. It'll be so nice to have peace and quite again after a year of equipment rumbling14 hours a day.

The Ranch is a little less full and quite this week. Over the weekend we lost our Bonnie. She was an amazing guard dog and protected our family and livestock for 7½ years. She was always looking for belly rubs and and bones to chew on. From a tiny 8lb fluff ball in March 2019 to a 130lb coyote killing beast In July 2026. Run free Bonnie dog.

Introducing Hamlet the house pig 🐷 we had an insanely small litter of piglets this go around. Poor guy is the last man standing out of that bunch, so he’s getting some extra attention until he’s big enough to fend for himself with the other pigs.
