Hawk's Eye Farm was established November 2018 and is a mixed use farm with petting zoo animals.

More additions to the farm.. one of our ducks has been laying on a nest for a month right next to the front porch. Today we discovered that at least 3 of the seven eggs have hatched. Momma is a Cuyuga that was part of a mixed flock with Roeuns. Not sure what these will look like when full grown.

More babies this afternoon...just sold two Saturday so net loss was zero....meet Ivory and Iris.

Another busy day on the farm...300 feet of fencing put up. Moved the baby goats and their mothers to new stalls. They were having issues getting along. And we have a new green house almost ready.

Named the two newest goats Heather and Hank. Photos attached.

Leap day (Feb 29) brought us two new babies...meet Gabbie and Gracie...born to Dakota....they came as a surprise as she really wasn't showing. We have another that I expect will deliver in the next month or so! These 2 will be up consideration once weaned from mom.

We moved our duck house closer to the pond. This morning their colors were in full display. I can't believe how beautiful they have become.

Our ducks just gave us our first ever duck eggs. They are really different and beautiful. Not quite sure I can eat them. We have Cayuga and Rohan ducks.

Things have been very peaceful on Hawk's Eye Farm...until last night. Our little Fancy decided to put her head through the fence for the third time. This time she snapped off her horn trying to get out. She's on the way to the veterinarian this morning to evaluate the injury and figure out next steps.

Our grandson, Re*****on came by to visit Fancy and our other critters. Fancy is the most social goat we have. Loves to be petted and given attention.

My how things have changed. Just 2 short years ago today our barn was being built. The first significant structure at Hawk’s Eye Farm.

Our week old Fantasy is doing great and getting along well with the others. So much fun watching them grow and develop. Elvis has really gotten big in his short 3 months.
