It's August 1 and Bynx would like to know who's gonna start decorating for Halloween first?
My house is looking more and more every year like a witch in the woods lives here and I am totally okay with it being Halloween all year long
If it was the late 1600's I think it's obvious what side of the table I'd have been on in Salem now excuse me while I dust off my Halloween decorations and drink my tincture 🤷🏼‍♀️

Finding the goodness in the small stuff... Planted a hibiscus for the tortoise and it's blooming beautifully, the lime tree has made a comeback in this heat and the bunnies are just living life as pets.

Turkey Terry Crews... The largest tom I have ever had who has subsequently been an overcontributor to my entire flock has sadly passed away today
Bittersweet because he was past his fertility date but also just glad his genes run deep. He had been retired this past year because I knew I was on borrowed time (and because Terry Jr was in his prime) but he will always be my favorite.

The dog's days of summer started early this year and the cucumbers are showing their heat exhaustion

It's so hot the only thing enjoying themselves is the mosquitos

took a quick run thru what's left of the garden after all this crazy weather... These sunflowers will always be my favorite. Getting ready to pull most of it to get the fall garden started.
Anyone else take the dog days of summer off in the garden?
