🌞 Never have I ever posted soap on Friday or in the afternoon! This soap drop comes unexpectedly and without warning... much like the end of summer.

✨️ This is a busy life season, so we're keeping this soap drop simple! Every soap is made with coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter, castor oil, goats milk, and lye. Each batch was made with a single essential oil to create a simple scent!

**Litsea Cubeba is one of my new favorites! If you had the Calendula Soap from a few months ago, this is the essential oil that I used. It is a softer, more lemony, sweeter version of lemongrass.

Activated Charcoal Soap

🧼 This is the only facial soap bar I have used since I started making it a few years ago.

🫧 I don't always post that I have it, but since I personally only use this face soap, I always have it stocked! If you don't see it in a drop, send me a message, add it in your soap order, I always have it.

✨️ And if you need to be convinced to give it a try, this soap is made with goats milk (nourishing), olive oil (hydrating), shea butter (moisturizing), castor oil (soothing), sodium hydroxide (causes the chemical reaction to make it soap), and activated charcoal (cleanses pores).

🌱 The essential oils are tea tree, lavender, and cedarwood.

Hot Process Soap 🧼

🫧 The most simple bar of soap in the drop with just coconut oil, olive oil, water and lye.

🍋 This bar is a perfect combination of lemongrass, lemon, and spearmint essential oils.

🧼 Why does the label say Hot Process?

🫧 Usually I make soap using the cold process method. Oils and butters are melted down, cooled, and then mixed with a liquid/lye solution. Everything is kept at a cooler temperature throughout the process.

🧼 This batch was made using the hot process method. Same ingredients, similar process, just made at a higher temperature.

🧼 I was recently given the opportunity to teach a soap class where I demonstrated how to make cold process soap.

🍋 In the class, I made the Lemon Orange bar shown. It is made with beef tallow, shea butter, olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, and goats milk (and the sodium hydroxide which causes the reaction to make the soap). There is ground turmeric added to create a slightly orange swirl. Lemon and Sweet Orange essential oils create the sweetest summer scent, and dried orange and poppyseeds are sprinkled on top for funsies.

🪵 Patchouli + Bergamot + Cedarwood is my attempt to make myself like the stronger scents. Let me say, I'm coming around. This one is just woodsy enough with citrus and sweet notes.

🫖 Lemon Ginger Honey is my favorite. It feels as healing for the skin as a cup of tea on a summer evening. This bar has lemon and ginger essential oils, and honey added to the soap. Honey gives the bar a more golden color and is also hydrating for the skin and can soothe irritation.

Tallow soap is sooo creamy! Try it for yourself. 😉
