Lots of first for “Purple” today!

First car ride, first time in a TSC, first time surrounded by lots of strange people & dogs barking.

She placed herself, growled at the inquisitive pit bull (guarding me) and settled in to chill.

She received her rabies shot (she’s legal!) and tomorrow she’ll go to her new home.

She is an angel. Super chill, good on leash(all considering) lovely temperament and she loves children. That’s Kailyn giving her “medicine”

I can’t wait to see how she does in her new home!

Purple has siblings still looking for their forever farm.

This boy (beetle aka brown collar) is in the barn learning what a leash/collar/tether is and getting work on free range chickens, waterfowl & itty bitty chicks are meant to be left alone.
He’s surrounded by goat kids and he’s doing great!

He’d really like a guarding home of his own.

He’s sweet, loves children & is being alert & watchful and he’s not overly barky!

Wicked kidded a well-grown really nice looking buck kid yesterday afternoon

I was hoping for a doe, but honestly I have an awful lot of doe kids this year! Some I need to make more hard decisions on!

With Wicked kidding, there’s just 1 more doe still to kid- Germasai who is a 50/50 Lamancha/Oberhasli cross who’s got White Rock Last Minute kids on board- kids will be 75% Oberhasli. She’s due 6/8!
