With a career in Nursing, owner Jennifer Walker of Southern Comfort Foods never expected to have a food business. After having her first child, she decided to leave the nursing field to stay at home where her love for cooking grew. A few years later she prepared lunch for her child's preschool teachers and thus began an "addicental" catering career. Over the next few years her pimento cheese and chicken salads were so well received that she began selling them exclusively at local farmers' markets. If she's not in the kitchen whipping up a fresh batch, you can find her at several local markets along with her top salespeople, her kids.

Weekend Schedule Update!
I will not be at the Alpharetta Farmers Market this weekend due to a family funeral but Brandy will be at Suwanee 8-12:00. Please go visit her and get all your goodies for the long weekend. She will also have my fresh brown EGGS so grab them while you can!!
Classic and Jalapeño Pimento Cheese plus Apple C***r Vinaigrette will also be available at Cherokee Market in Canton. She just made a market run today so she’ll be stocked with fresh produce. Cherokee Market Farm Fresh Produce & Antiques

UPDATE FOR THE WEEKEND! I need your help!

The Alpharetta Farmers market has been cancelled for tomorrow and I have a ton of chicken salad and pimento cheese I need to sell. I will now be at the Cu***ng Farmers Market in the Cu***ng City Center 8-11 and Kathie will be at the Suwanee Farmers Market 8-12. PLEASE come visit us at one of these markets for all the chicken salad and pimento cheese you need for your long weekend.
