I'm going to ask you to do something that costs nothing but could change everything. Please read this... then share it.

Imagine surviving neglect, abuse, or being abandoned by the people you trusted most.

Now imagine finally finding a place where you feel safe... only to have that home disappear.

That is the reality facing the more than 50 parrots at Nana & Papa's Nest.

Birds like Jude, who is blind and depends on routine. Scoop, who lives each day without a top beak. Cuddles, who survived a devastating house fire. Every single bird here has a story. Every one of them has already lost enough.

Now they are depending on us to keep one promise:

That they will never be abandoned again.

We have until August 31 to secure a new home for our rescue.

Every day, we care for these birds as if they were our own family. We celebrate their victories, comfort them through their fears, and grieve when we lose one. Walking away is not an option. Giving up is not an option.

But we can't do this without you.

We try to prevent these lil barn swallows every season from making their nests on our porches, but our cruise days gave them opportunity this time 🙃 We have a big barn with all kinds of space for their nests… but they always insist on our porch!

I am still in search of the perfect new perch for Bandit! This sweet boy is locked in his cage all week due to returning to work in person back in March. He needs an experienced bird home; someone with African Grey experience is a plus! (He is not free, these birds are not cheap) Please help me spread the word, I know his new family is out there somewhere 😍
