The flower season feels like it’s taking forever to start and I think it’s because we didn’t do Tulips this year BUT this is evidence that it’s moving forward! We updated our availability on SWGMC for the first time in 2023 today👍🏻.

This may look like boring stuff but I’m pretty juiced about a pallet of lime. Let the sweetening begin! This is the first step to healthy plants for 2023.

Checking on outside progress, while inside it’s nothing but a nap fest! This year some crops are falling away (I’m not sure if I can live without Tulips but we’re giving it a shot) and we’re bolstering some crops that won’t be profitable for at least 3 years (you say what?). This is an effort to ‘run the farm’ so it doesn’t run us! Kind of scary, I’m not gonna lie. Farming is one big experiment and you pretend to be the boss but…your not.

First wreath of 2022!

Wreathing makes me think of…endless possibility.

There is so much beauty in the distant landscape with subtle colors and fog and the moodiness of the sky…enough to make my chest feel like it’ll burst. What is that, inspiration?
