DNA results are in for this cute little girl. She is an Amber Champagne Tobiano with a copy of the Splash 1 gene making her eyes blue and she is homozygous for Tobiano. Yay!! She is sale pending and will be going to Idaho upon weaning. I adore this girl and I know her new owner will love her too!

Coco our beautiful dappled classic champagne mare sired by Dp Gunnaoutshinya had her c**t this morning. He is huge!! He appears to be a Sable champagne tobiano and with the lighter hair around the eyes I'm hoping homozygous for the champagne gene. Testing will be done to confirm color, if homozygous champagne, homozygous black and if he carries the Splash 1 gene. This c**t is well bred and will be a great stallion prospect. He's well bred for all around and his dam is a granddaughter of NRHA Hall of Fame Stallion Gunnatrashya!

Today we took Happy in for a checkup. He was born with very contracted tendons. He is much better but his legs still visibly look a bit contracted. We got a soundness exam for him from one vet and today the vet that did surgery on him said they look much better. He's very happy with them. He said at this point the best thing for him is pasture time where he can run and naturally stretch them out. He said his bones may be growing faster than the tendons and when he is full grown they should be fine. He wasn't concerned with how they are now and said he knows a lady who has a horse she barrel races on that look the same.

Happy did amazing today. He stood tied to the trailer for about an hour. This was only the fourth time he's been tied. He started to get bored at one point so Dave took him for a little walk. Loose lead, several horses, lawn mower running around, a train going by and whistling, muck trailer rolled out, a farrier banging on shoes and shoeing a horse. Needless to say for a yearling being exposed to new things he handled it all in stride. He really is the best boy. Hoping to find him a forever loving home. ❤️

We are zero for three on breeding this year. Dang!

Left Ruby and Rio to be rebred to Snipers Smoking Gun and taking Burrito back Monday to double ck her and if ready rebreed her to Champ.
Everything was timed perfectly with Ruby and Burrito.

We take Poppy in next week to see if shes in foal to Champ which she should be.

Wish is currently being bred to The Sweet Spot so hoping that goes well, it is our first try with frozen semen.

Lastly Coco will be bred to SHR Qts Diamondcutter after she foals this year. Really thought the storm last night would hurry her along but no such luck!

Cass wants to play with Lucy so badly. Every time he approaches she turns her heels and snubs him lol. So in this video she approached him and he froze like if he doesn't move she might play with him. As u can see that didn't work either lol. Poor guy!
