Well, another season is upon us! The weather is not looking so good thus far. A few tips and tricks for hunting in the heat!

🦌Bring your ice chest along full of ice so you can cool your game down quickly as possible.

🦌 Remember: vinegar is a great way for disinfectant to rub down on your game.

🦌 Pepper sprinkled around game helps keep bees and flies at bay.

🦌Another thing to remember is windage and elevation. That'll help get your game down the mountain.

🦌Not our normal hunting season for sure! Do your best!

Our Story

Here at the Crabtree’s Wild Game Processing Shop & Smokehouse, we are dedicated to making your game the best sausage in Whatcom County and surrounding counties. We process deer, elk, bear, cougar, goat, and duck. We specialize in rustic sausage and have over 20 different kinds of seasonings we use. During the fall hunting season, we are almost always open. We do attend church on Sunday, so if you can’t reach us during that time, leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

*You are guaranteed your own cuts back. Each animal is tagged with a number, which stays with the meat from the time you drop off your game until you pick it up.

*Make sure your animal has its DNR Registration Tag attached to it if required by law.

*After hours drop-off cooler is available 24/7. No need to schedule your processing ahead of time!
