Introducing Rowan to the Ranch page! Illustrated Edition aka Rowan is an 8 year old Spotted Saddle Horse stallion. He has an extremely sweet personality, is versitile just the way I like them and has an incredibly unique color pattern that makes him just a little extra special!

Rowan has competed and won World Grand Championships in multiple divisions including Trail Pleasure Walking, Spotted Pleasure and Model. He also won us a buckle in Team Penning (he absolutely LOVES working cows!), has done hunter paces, beach riding, trail riding etc.

Rowan has been passing his great mind, laid back personality and flexible nature to his foals (along with beautiful coats). Rowan is homozygous tobiano and can only produce a spotted foal.

Presenting the new Ranch page! Welcome to Signature Elements Ranch owned by Lisa McCoy. Lisa has been breeding and raising horses since 2016; specializing in gaited horses that are versatile, level headed, friendly, talented and flashy! Since we typically only raise one baby each year they get a lot of dedicated handling which has made for wonderful horses as they aged.

Two wonderful stallions currently stand at stud here. Digger's Mischief Managed (aka Pharos) and Illustrated Edition (Rowan). I'll be making introduction posts about each!

Very proud of my little breeding program! Last week we got to meet two STUNNING stud c**ts! Both are sired by my fantastic stallions (who were born and raised with me)! I'm making separate posts for each, so check them out on my profile!

Our 2024 homozygous black/white (name coming soon) stud c**t is sired by Illustrated Edition (aka Rowan) and out of my mare Kosmos & Kryptonite (aka Katara). This pair has proven themselves multiple times already! At 3 days old this wonderful c**t is already social, curious, independent, cuddly and on his way to be something great. This baby is a full sibling to my last two foals: Casteel now owned by Becky Card Swerdloff and Imber/CJ owned by Cynthia Bober. I expect great things out of this guy, just as his siblings have already proven happens with this cross!

The beautiful tri-color "Gravedigger's Painted Cash" owned by Kym Rouse Holzwart is sired by Digger's Mischief Managed (aka Pharos). This is Pharos' first baby and he didn't disappoint! Cash reminds me so much of him as a foal. Last Fall Pharos was Top 3 in the Country Speed World Grand Championship Stake, and he just keeps improving!
I got to meet Cash a couple days ago and he is very laid back, friendly, brave and fun! Just like his wonderful sire. Crossing a good stallion with a nice mare makes for the best babies!

For those who aren't familiar with him, this is Rowan's half brother out of my mare. Both have been born and raised on my farm and I'm extremely proud of how wonderful both stallions are! Pharos is in his first breeding season. Pharos and Rowan offer very different rides (most notably more speed at the rack and lots of natural knee action out of Pharos) and personalities. Both are greatly loved and admired!

Rowan's latest c**t "Casteel" is growing up quickly and will be looking for a new pasture! I expect this beautiful homozygous boy to look a lot like his daddy when he grows up! His cat tracks are already getting more apparent and I think they will continue to increase! Looking back at pictures of Rowan he developed more tracks as he got older and they became more visible. Really neat to watch the boys come into themselves. Casteel is something really special!
