That cold front didn’t just bring cooler weather. It brought our first calf of 2026.

Healthy bull calf on the ground and doing great. Nothing better than walking out on a crisp morning and seeing a new baby.

One minute I’m elbow-deep in sourdough getting ready for the market this weekend.

Next thing, I’m ankle-deep in the lake water fixing the fence my steer just took down.. pretty sure he thinks it’s a suggestion, not a boundary.

Thanks to our three year old for capturing the moment 😂

We just want to say a big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at the farmers market today! It means so much to us to see all the friendly faces and to have y’all support what we do.

To everyone who took home a loaf of our sourdough, we sure hope you enjoy it! Nothing makes us happier than sharing something homemade and made with love.

Can’t wait to see y’all at the next event!

Morning well spent with the donkeys 🫏💕 The kids love showering them with attention, and the donkeys don’t seem to mind one bit. These are the little moments that make farm life so special.

Worked the herd tonight as a family. Pat handled the not so fun job of castrating four bull calves, Isabella kept watch, and Parker supervised over my shoulder like he was running the show.

Sure makes life easier having the Arrowquip Q Catch. We got lucky. Thunder rolled in and the skies got dark, but not a single drop of rain fell. Just left us with a beautiful evening sky and a rainbow to wrap things up. Grateful for this life and the little hands that help us live it. 🌈🐄
