Starting off our Saturday with GOOD NEWS! 🐮 Our sassy ClaraBelle is pregnant!! 💕
Here’s the raw truth— leading up to this morning we knew what was on the line. If ClaraBelle didn’t take this round we had the tough decision to rehome or send to butcher.
Trust me when I say, that’s a HEAVY decision on our shoulders after the time, dedication, energy, LOVE & finances we’ve poured into her.
But this is the heavy truth every farm must face when this is your livelihood. This is everything you’ve been working towards.
An infertile dairy cow only takes an immense toll financially.
We knew we couldn’t continue to pour into her if she wasn’t confirmed pregnant this go around.
But, we also held onto a ton of faith that everything will work out in time.
Thank God 🙌🏼 today faith won & that weight we felt feels a whole lot lighter!
This has been 3 years in the making for our farm— the unspoken hurdles we’ve experienced have been detrimental at times, but we kept persevering & trusting God with each decision.
We’ve raised Clara since she was 1.5 years old. She’s always been sassy & a bit unruly!
She became pregnant last year but sadly lost her calf at 5 months along. We knew she COULD get pregnant, but after a miscarriage & failed AI attempts, it makes you question every factor.
Today, we get to celebrate our girl & pray for a healthy, full term 🙏🏼 pregnancy!
