🇺🇸🐾 Brandy’s Bread 4th of July Animal Food Drive 🐾🇺🇸
From now until July 4th, Brandy’s Bread will be accepting donations of animal food to help local shelter animals in need. ❤️
After the holiday weekend, we will gather everything donated and personally deliver it to a local animal shelter for the fur babies waiting for love, safety, and a forever home.
If you’re skipping fireworks this year, maybe consider grabbing a small bag of food, a few cans, or even just one item for an animal who has no one except the shelter caring for them right now.
✨ Fireworks last a few minutes… helping an animal can change a life forever. ✨
Every single donation matters — whether it’s one can of dog food or a large sack of food.
Animals cannot speak for themselves. They rely on us to protect them, care for them, and advocate for them.
If you would like to donate:
🐾 Small items can be left on our RESERVED shelf
🐾 Larger bags of food can be placed on the floor in front of the RESERVED shelf
🐾 Can’t make it out to us? That’s ok! For those who would still like to help from afar, mailed donations are always welcome as well 🦩
We’ll be bringing donations inside and organizing them throughout the day so the shed stays clean and uncluttered.
🐾 Donations do NOT have to be expensive or large to matter. Store brands, small bags, canned food, treats, cat litter, puppy pads, blankets, toys, and cleaning supplies are all appreciated by shelters.
We also want to gently remind everyone:
❤️ Please check shelters and rescues before purchasing animals
❤️ Always research the breed/species first to ensure proper care, housing, and environment
❤️ Responsible ownership helps prevent animals from living their lives in and out of shelters
The shelters are often forgotten once the holiday passes, so we hope together we can remind them they’re not alone and these babies are loved by their community. ❤️
Animals have always meant the world to us.
I was in 4-H at just 8 years old, raising, breeding, and showing rabbits and Pygmy goats. My very first business was “Brandy’s Bunnies”! I later volunteered at a local animal shelter helping with dog walks, and most of the animals in our home today are rescues of some sort. I also worked at a veterinary clinic for several years, and it remains the job closest to my heart. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. My husband was raised around horses and cattle, and together we’re slowly working on turning our property into a small safe place for wildlife being displaced by all the building happening around us.
Even the smallest act of kindness can change an animal’s day — and sometimes even their life.
Thank you to everyone who helps us love on these babies a little extra this holiday season. 🐶🐱🐾
