We’ve been growing over here at Horned & Bloomed, and with that growth comes the need for something every new wedding business needs — 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼.

We’re looking for a couple who has poured themselves into creating a wedding that feels like 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 — DIY details, carefully chosen touches, something a little nontraditional, or simply a day built around the things and people they love most.

One couple will receive a 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 & 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝘄 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 for their wedding day.

In return, we get to capture some beautiful new wedding content and be a small part of a day that already means a whole lot to someone.

Some days, even the work feels just as much like a fairytale as the weddings do. 🫠

Walking through our own little Fern Gully with Bean beside me, it would be pretty easy to believe halter training a Vow Cow is always this peaceful.

𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 😂

Halter training is 𝘯𝘰𝘵 always this easy. Bean just makes it look that way. ♥️

She comes from an incredibly well-tempered dam, we’ve been building trust with her since day one, and she was pulled around 90 days with some bottle raising—so Bean is definitely not one of our feral cases.

But she’s a beautiful example of why we believe in 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚.

We don’t use quads or side-by-sides to pull them around, and we don’t tie them up for hours waiting for them to give in.

We use patience. Trust. Consistency.

And treats. 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀. 😂

Of course, every cow is different and halter training will always be case by case. Some come to us gentle, while others arrive completely feral.

But even with the wild ones, if I don’t have to tie them or drag them, I won’t. I’d rather give them time to learn me first, then work through it one-on-one, together.

Because eventually our Vow Cows will step into a wedding surrounded by flowers, cameras, strangers, music and excitement.

We don’t just need them to tolerate us.

And that part of the fairytale starts long before the flowers ever go on. ✨💚

Some days you photograph a wedding. Some days you es**rt a Highland cow through downtown for a post-wedding treat. 🐄
Clyde worked hard — he showed up, he stole the spotlight, he made an entire wedding party stop and stare. So on the way home, we figured he earned a little something sweet.
He got his blueberry muffin 🫐. The whole street got a show. We call it the ✨Clyde Effect✨ — and once you’ve seen it, you understand.
This is the job. We wouldn’t trade it. 🤍
