MATURE PRODUCTION HERD (CANE HILL HERD) FOR SALE!
We are selling one more of our bison herds as we finish consolidating our operation to a single location. This would be a GREAT opportunity for someone looking to start with a herd that has proven genetics!
Our preference is to sell this herd intact, allowing them to keep their established herd dynamics. The land on which this herd calls home has sold, so we are looking to move them quickly if possible – PRICE IS REDUCED IF BUYER CAN TAKE DELIVERY BEFORE JAN 4, 2026. This herd has consistently produced highly sought after “starter herd” calves. Some additional information is below. Please private message me for pictures, pricing, and additional information.
CANE HILL HERD INVENTORY –all animals will be vaccinated (Vira Shield VX) and given wormer shots before delivery. Weights listed below are not certified but were taken in the chute with our working system scale.
Herd Bull: Big Joe – 8 years old - 2018 NBA Gold Trophy Show Champion bull calf. Weight ~ 2100 lb. Big Joe came to us from 2J bison, a ranch with a great reputation for producing award-winning stock year after year. He has produced some outstanding calves, with the heifers selling out quickly every year (including this year). Big Joe has several bull calves which have gone on to become herd bulls from our starter herd packages.
Mature Cows: 23 total. Also 8 years old, these beautiful cows are out of Addington Buffalo company and Antelope Island State Park. Avg weight ~1000+ (several over 1100). None have been preg checked, but all have been exposed and this herd has a history of 90%+ production rate.

Our favorite and most well behaved bison “Charlie” is excited to once again participate in the Fourth of July parade in Dadeville. The biggest little parade in the state of Missouri!! Happy Independence Day!!

We will be at the Ash Grove Farmers Market in the morning. You can pick up some 100% grass fed and finished bison ground, steaks, roasts and of course snack sticks! It’s Artisans Market this week so come enjoy the fun art demos going on at everyone's booths.

Saturday 9 -12, City Park. We have pork, chicken, Bison cuts and ground, microgreens, mushrooms, lettuce, kale, coffee, baked bread, cinnamon rolls, sourdough, peanut brittle, cookies, cupcakes, Italian soda, jams, jelly, honey and more deliscous food to offer.
In addition we have some amazing artisans at market: Wood worker, fiber artist, furniture maker, potter, jewelry designer, card maker, and others too!

Plants, Flowers, health products, lotions, soaps, aprons, bags and so much more to see.

MATURE PRODUCTION HERD (HULSTON MILL HERD) FOR SALE!

As much as we LOVE our bison, we are getting to the age where we need to slow down a little. As a result, we are consolidating our operation. We have decided to sell one of our mature production herds. This would be a GREAT opportunity for someone looking to start with a gentle herd that has proven genetics!

Our preference is to sell this herd intact, allowing them to keep their established herd dynamics. The land on which this herd calls home has sold, so we are looking to move them quickly if possible – PRICE IS REDUCED IF BUYER CAN TAKE DELIVERY BEFORE FEB 4, 2024. This herd has consistently produced highly sought after “starter herd” calves. At least 10 bulls from this herd are currently serving as herd bulls for ranches across several states. HULSTON MILL HERD INVENTORY –all animals were vaccinated (Vira Shield VX) and given long range wormer shots on 12/16/2023. Weights listed below are not certified but were taken in the chute with our working system scale.

Herd Bull: Jackson – 11 years old - 2014 NBA Gold Trophy Show and Sale Reserve Grand Champion bull. Weight ~ 2000 lb. Jackson came to us from Rawhide Energy Station, a ranch with a great reputation for producing award-winning stock. Jackson has produced some outstanding calves, all with fantastic “meat box” structure.

Mature Cows: 19 total. Most are also 11 years old and from Custer State Park with a few transfers from our other herds. Avg weight ~1000+ (4 over 1100). None have been preg checked, but all have been exposed and this herd has a history of 90%+ production rate. 2 calved late in 2023 so they are being sold with calves at side.

2-year-old heifer: 1 total. This was recently transferred from our Cane Hill herd. Exposed but lighter weight. Will price/sell as open.

Calves: 2 calves at side (late calves from 2023), not weaned.

If you’re looking for a last minute Christmas gift or stocking stuffer or some party food, we just got our bison summer sausage back from the processor. These are HUGE - almost 3 pounds apiece and delicious! They are selling for $35 and can be picked up at the ranch or McGills auto shop in Dadeville.
