With the rain and winds happening now and continuing throughout the time we would be at the market, we will not be at the market. We did prep and bake some regular Mennonite sourdough sandwich bread and cinnamon raisin bread because I had pre-orders for some and so I made a few extra because I was really hoping we wouldn't be hit until after the market (I have to prep so far in advance, but this time I didn't prep as much as normal). Just let me know if you would like one. You can still pickup at my place, at Accent Cellars on Wednesdays, next Sat we will be at Gold Rush- watch for where, and watch for news on when we deliver to our local farmers market booth #15 at the Antique Mall which will have my whole lineup of items - Fresh baked items, jams/jellies, salves, goat milk lotions, soap, bath items and more- we will be moving in soon! Next to my American Beautyberry Jelly my Cranberry Apple Relish just doesn't look as dark as it does in person - but after I made the Relish I have to say I'm questioning why I haven't made this before 😋 (several types of local apples, cranberries, raw sugar, walnuts, and cinnamon 😋)

For today's market I'm bringing our regular Mennonite sourdough sandwich bread, cinnamon Raisin, dill pickle, cranberry walnut, seeded (the one with more than 180 grams of protein in the loaf plus the good fiber!), and peach pecan. Strawberry Vanilla Bean Scones. Carrot Cake Cupcakes. Pecan Brownies. I'm restocked with peach jam and some other of your favorite jams! Your favorite goat milk soaps. Eggs are low due to the pre orders so get there early! I also have some freeze dried duck eggs! Dahlonega Farmers Market

Special today are sourdough chocolate cupcakes with a fluffy strawberry frosting 😋 and when I say strawberry I mean real strawberry flavor nothing artificial and actual strawberry pieces in the frosting. Frosting is lightly sweetened with local honey so you truly taste the strawberry flavor! Also bringing more of the peanut butter brownies you guys said were the best ever. For scones I have Freedom (strawberry, blueberry, and white chocolate chips) and dark chocolate almond butter-fresh ground almond butter 😋 for our Mennonite sourdough breads we have regular, cranberry walnut, and seeded ( the more with more than 180 grams of protein in the whole loaf. We also have eggs, goat milk soap, Jams. Came down and support all your favorite local farmers, I can't say it enough- we truly appreciate all your support! Dahlonega Farmers Market

These are going to be the special treats for a wedding party (bride and the girls). They requested Caramel Apple Scones and Strawberry Cupcakes with a Vanilla Bean Frosting. And you know I have local fruit in both and the best ingredients possible. Not going to lie, the cupcakes are amazing and I'm going to have to make them for this weekend's market!

* So if you didn't know I can make things for your special events, just reach out and let me know what your interested in. Last week I did cheese straws for someone- trying to figure out how to make those for the market while not killing my hands (they were so good though! I don't cut corners on ingredients!)

I couldn't resist taking these pictures yesterday we truly are a rain or shine market, but our market kids clearly prefer the rain ones and watching them brings back the happy memories of running through all the puddles instead of avoiding them as adults- my dad and I were cracking up watching them live their best life. As you can see the heavens opened up and it wasn't long after I took these that we packed up and left. We all would like to thank all of you who came out early before the rain, in the rain, and who made arrangements to meet us - all of your local farmers market vendors greatly appreciate your support! We look for to seeing you next weekend! Dahlonega Farmers Market
