🔹️FAQ::
-Q: What is your contact information?
-A: Phone(call or text) 512.855.3773, Facebook messenger here on our profile(https://www.facebook.com/moriarty.farms)
-Q: Why do I need to schedule a pick-up?
-A: Think of it like curbside pick-up at a grocery store. You select a time slot, usually within a one-hour window (e.g., 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM), to pick up the items you've ordered. We use a similar time-blocking system for scheduling pick-up orders at Moriarty Farms.
-Q: How do I order?
-A: You can place your order via phone call, text, or Facebook. Reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist you!
-Q: Can I make changes to my order?
-A: Yes! You can make changes up to 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up time.
-Q: How do I schedule a pick-up?
-A: When placing your order, you’ll choose a date and time that works best for your schedule within our operating hours. After selecting your pick-up time, you’ll receive a confirmation that includes your order details, total, pick-up time and date, address, directions, and contact information.
-Q: Where do I pick up my order?
-A: We’re located on our homestead and farm in Dale. Every order will include our address and general directions. Upon arrival, you can either stay by the fence or come down the driveway—both are fine! We’re happy to bring your items to either location.
-Q: What do I do when I arrive?
-A: If we haven’t already seen you, just message, text, or call us to let us know you’ve arrived, and provide the name on your order. We’ll bring your items out promptly!
-Q: How do I pay?
-A: We accept card payments, cash, and Cash App.
-Q: Do I pay before pick-up?
-A: No, payment is due upon arrival for all cottage products and farm-fresh eggs. There are a few rare exceptions where pre-payment is required.
-Q: Why is paying with card a different price than cash?
-A: We use square. square has varying service/processing fee's. We do not set how much they charge as Square is its own entity/business, we only utilize their payment processing services for digital and card transactions.
-Q: What happens if I don’t pick up my order?
-A: We understand that life gets busy. If you miss your pick-up, we’ll reach out to reschedule. However, if there’s no contact after a certain period, you’ll need to get in touch to place a new order and schedule a new pick-up time.
-Q: How long does it take to receive a response to my inquiry?
-A: While we wish we could respond right away every time, please allow at least 2 business days for us to get back to you regarding messages, Facebook comments, and other social media interactions—especially during our busy peak seasons. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding! At Moriarty Farms, our community means the world to us, and we are committed to providing both quality products and quality experiences. Thank you for being a part of our farm family & supporting local.
-Q:How many of your ingredients are actually local?
-A:GREAT question! Hey there neighbors and friends lets break down where some of our main ingr., come from. Supporting local not only allows us to continue to offer a quality products but allows to support our community around us. When you buy our Cottage Products you are supporting not only our local homestead but many other farmers around you.
**Our sourdough starter was made many years ago before we began selling bread for home use, but it is in fact made here at Moriarty Farms.
**Honey- We use local honey from several vendors at the Lockhart farmers market and other local farms for our loafs. Only a few of our loaves contain white our brown sugar such as our brown-sugar cinnamon.
**Yeast- yeast is commercial BUT 90% of our breads are sourdough and do not require commercial yeast as they use starter.. Any that are not are labeled accordingly or requested to be yeast based and again labeled as such.
**Herbs- All fresh and dry herbs used are grown, cut and dried here at Moriarty Farms, purchased locally, purchased from neighboring farms or in extreme cases purchased from local stores.
**Salt- The salt is commercially purchased. We use a mix of kosher sea salt, Celtic, and pink Himalayan. We blend them together to create a mineral rich salt. We use it for all of our homestead cooking and baking, and we have the same salt in our Cottage Products.
**Flour- Is commercial. Depending on the flour used depends on where it is sourced. Barton Spring mill, Costco, Red Mill, and others. You do hope to mill our own or find a miller here in Caldwell county.
**Eggs- Our pasta uses our farm fresh open pasture raised chicken or duck eggs. Many people request our duck egg pasta or egg-less pasta of they are allergic to chicken eggs.

-Q: What is your return and exchange policy?
-A: At Moriarty Farm, we take great pride in all of our products. Hatching Eggs:: Once hatching eggs leave our property—whether through shipping, delivery, or pick-up—we can no longer guarantee their hatchability or health due to factors beyond our control. We truly appreciate your understanding, and please note that all orders are made at your own risk. We also cannot guarantee the specific quality or type of offspring from hatching eggs. No refunds will be offered.Similarly, while we care deeply about the well-being of our livestock, we can't guarantee their health once they leave our farm, as various external factors may come into play during shipping, delivery, or pick-up. If you have any questions or concerns about your eggs, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re always here to help!
Eating Eggs:: Our farm-fresh eggs are sold unwashed to preserve their natural protective coating, known as the "bloom." However, we’re happy to wash them upon request. Please note that, like all farm-fresh eggs, the size, shell color, weight of the yolk and white may vary. Please remember they’re not the same as store-bought eggs.
Cottage products:: Please note that we never add chemicals or preservatives to any of our cottage products. For example our delicious Sourdough breads. As a result, when stored on the counter, you may notice mold after 3-4 days. In the fridge, they can last for 2 weeks or more, and when stored properly in the freezer, they can stay fresh for up to 6 months.
