Wishing everyone holiday cheer this season!
East Dallas Marmalady is officially done for the year as I focus on my health and family. This past summer, I had a couple of big falls and we could not figure out why. Then in September, I landed in the hospital with cardiac arrest. Thankful to the angels at Baylor, I am sitting here typing this. Everything is regulated now through medication and an ICD, but I am still not quite where I need to be. Thankful for all of your thoughts and prayers. They are definitely helping!
I am officially sold out of everything after the last Lakewood market. I miss you all and plan to be back in 2026. I will be slimming down production and markets so that I can better keep up with family, work and me 🙂

Family is heavy on my mind this week as we will be attending a very special wedding this weekend. I thought this would be a great time to introduce my favorite marmalady, my grandma Laura- we lovingly called her Lala. Some of you have heard my story of the secret tradition we had of eating her special stash of marmalade with townhouse or ritz crackers. When the pandemic came and our minds raced, I got busy attempting to make marmalade in her memory. And here I am five years later! Cheers to you, Lala! I miss you every day.
