Stuffing faces since 1956, stop by today for the best cold cut deli sandwiches in town! 1701 Shaw Street Dallas, Tx 75212. Open from 10am - 5pm Monday - Saturday. Gipson Grocery has been a staple in West Dallas. Phillip Gipson, the store's owner, is a second-generation owner.

“Gipson Grocery is considered to be the oldest Black-owned convenient grocery store,” said Phillip. “We endured a lot during that time period obviously in the 50s and 60s to establish the grocery store and keep it going.” Gipson Grocery is located in what’s considered a food desert. His store offers low prices to help lower-income families, but he could see a change with about 45,000 dockworkers on strike.

In an effort to get more people to participate in voting. Gipson Grocery, Gipson Insurance Group, Gipson Cold Cut Deli & Sandwich Shop at 1701 Shaw St Dallas Tx ( West Dallas ). We are partnering with several organizations for a Voter Registration Drives on Saturday August 23, 2025 we will partner with the Greek Fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi from 11am to 3 pm. Come in and enjoy a treat (free gift).
