This years 'June hatch' will be in July… The incubator is almost full, Black hens with 2 bar gene OE rooster. These will be 1 bar gene male and females. The barred girls with a solid color rooster would produce sex-linked broods.
Normally the June hatch starts laying a couple weeks after the shortest day, eggs in January.

we have lost Will the Wheaton marked Americauna…
He was my double blue gene rooster. I do have 1 of his sons from last years spring hatch. The kid is untested, but has the right comb and cheeks so there is hope of him being a double blue.
