I am proud to announce that applications for the Spring 2023 sessions of Brown-Forman's beloved Grain to Glass Bartender Contest launch today, February 1st. This year, we've partnered with legendary Bartender Activation agency Lush Life Productions--the team behind beloved events such as Camp Runamok and Portland Cocktail Week--to amplify access, recruitment, and ex*****on.
For those less familiar, Grain to Glass is Brown-Forman's internal bartender education experience, during which chosen applicants from the best bars and restaurants around the country will join us for an all-expenses-paid, immersive exploration of our Old Forester, Woodford Reserve, and Jack Daniel's Distilleries, as well as our Brown-Forman Cooperage. The program also includes a newly-added opportunity for bartenders to complete a full-day, in-person distillation & maturation certificate ("American Whiskey Certification") through Louisville's own Moonshine University. Bartenders will have exclusive, in-person access to our team of Master Distillers and hospitality experts, and will leave convinced that when it comes to Brown-Forman's American Whiskey portfolio, there is truly, "Nothing Better in the Market."
The application may be accessed here , and entries will be accepted until 11:59pm EST on February 14th. Bartenders may apply for one of two sessions, scheduled for the weeks of April 3rd and April 16th. 27 total winners per session will be notified shortly thereafter.
