In 1981, Dan Gatlin planted one of the first commercial grape vineyards in Texas.

It was one of the most research oriented plantings at the time including 22 European vinifera varieties. After extensive collection of growth and chemistry data, Mr. Gatlin determined that grapes native to Spain were best suited for producing World-Class wines in Texas.

Once again, we will be closed today for harvest. We apologize but this season has been a whirlwind and we are stretched thin. Spencer will be back to fulfill your tasting needs as soon as he can. Thank again for understanding. See you soon!

Today Spencer is making more wine for y’all! Sorry we are closed again. Harvest time is hectic and schedules are erratic. We will resume normal hours as soon as the dust has settled. Thanks for understanding!

Here at Inwood Estates, we support our fellow Texans in times of need. With that spirit, we will be donating a portion of all sales from this weekend to the American Red Cross in hopes of making a difference in the relief effort for our Houston area brothers and sisters.

We are praying for the safety of all those affected by Harvey and hope for a speedy recovery!
