For those of you who know me, you know that Mexican conchas are my absolute favorite sweet bread. 🇲🇽❤️

Today, I decided to recreate them using the best ingredients, and I’m so happy with how they turned out! Soft, fluffy dough, a slightly crunchy topping, just the right amount of sweetness, and the perfect size. ✨

I have to admit, the dough took much longer than I expected to rise, and for a while I was seriously questioning whether they would actually puff up in the oven. 😅 But they did!

And after trying one warm, fresh out of the oven… they were everything I hoped for. Soft, fluffy, buttery, and absolutely delicious. 🤍

There’s something extra special about baking something that brings back a little piece of Mexico and so many memories. 🇲🇽

I think these might need to make an appearance at Karen’s Buttery. 😉

💄💅 Glam, sparkle, and birthday fun! 🎂

This beauty-themed cake was created for a very special 8th birthday! 🩷 From the tiny nail polish bottles and lipstick to the makeup palette, buttons, flowers, and colorful details, there was something fun to see from every angle.

I absolutely loved bringing all these little details together in the sweetest shades of pink, turquoise, purple, and mint.
