Henri Giraud "Argonne" 2014
Know for its power from Pinot forward cuvee vinified in new barrel made with local oak sourced from the Argonne forest.
Despite my prejudgement of what this w**e is known for, this w**e showcases beautiful balance of intensity with vibrant energy.

Domaine Armand Rousseau Gevrey 1er Cru "Clos St. Jacques" 2007
The most fabled premier cru vineyard in all of Gevrey. Especially through the hands of grand master, Eric Rousseau, this w**e is a stunner. The w**e we exhibits classic notes of Gevrey such as dark cherry, dried potpourri and sous bois. I was fortunate to visit the estate over a decade ago now. I can vividly remember Eric kindly opened my birth year w**e. It was a special day and it's long overdue. Can I please visit again? 🙏

Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie 2017
Each time I taste his w**e, the memory brings me back to his old, rustic cellar when I visited in 2009. As I was a rather green sommelier, I was quite surprised by the stark difference from aesthetically polished bordelaise cellars. When he siphoned out the w**e from old barrel with his soil stained hand and poured for us, the w**e bloomed like beautiful wild flowers in the glass.
This w**e is quite young but it is promising.
Looking forward to meet again

Bird flew over and sat on Yoonho's shoulder. He said, "I will remember this moment for the rest of his life."

Domaine Ramonet
Bienvenue-Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2002
What a stunning bottle it was!
Crystalline minerall with mint which is a signature of Ramonet (at least for me)

Domaine d'Auvenay
Meursault "Chaumes des Perriéres" 2000

Ending a year with a bang!
Can't belive how fresh it was.
