🌻 The first sunflower is blooming! 🌻

That’s always an exciting sign because it usually means our sunflower field will reach full bloom in about 5–7 days.

If all goes as expected, there should be lots of beautiful flowers at our Dallas farm during the week of the 4th of July! 🇺🇸🌻

One thing to note: due to the drought, the sunflowers are a little shorter than usual this year. While they may not tower overhead, I think this field will be especially beautiful for photos of children or for family pictures with everyone seated on blankets among the blooms. 📸🌻

Pick-Your-Own Blackberries Are Now Open!

We now have pick-your-own blackberries available, and there are still plenty of pick-your-own strawberries as well.

Since strawberries and blackberries are the same price, you can mix and match both berries in the same box.

We also have fresh ready-picked strawberries and blackberries available in our stores today.

Both pick-your-own and ready-picked supplies should be plentiful at our Dallas and Iron Station locations today and throughout the weekend.

🍓🫐 It’s DOUBLE BERRY season! 🫐🍓

One of the best times of the year — when spring crops are still going strong and summer crops are just beginning to arrive. Today we picked our very first blackberries of the season, and we still have beautiful strawberries available too!

Blackberry supply is limited while the plants are ramping up. Blackberry peak season for us will be June (fingers crossed!).

Nothing says summer quite like fresh-picked berries. Stop by and grab some while both are in season.

We’ve been having so much fun experimenting with bok choy!

Because North Carolina shares a similar latitude with parts of China, many traditional Chinese vegetables grow beautifully here — including bok choy!

Sadly, Patsy Lineberger broke her arm a few weeks ago, so she’s been focusing on nutritious foods while she heals. Bok choy is packed with calcium and other nutrients that support bone health, and she’s been creating all kinds of delicious dishes with it. Here are some photos of her favorites!

We also have lots of freshly picked bok choy available in our store this week.

Update for Mother's Day weekend 2026.
The farm received 3.2" of rain yesterday. This rain has caused watermarks and cracking and melting of many ripe strawberries. There are still many nice strawberries in the fields, but picking will require patience sorting between good and bad. We may also run out of ready picked strawberries sometime this weekend. It will take us 5 days to get over all the fields and get them cleaned up. The good news is that this rain is very good for the green berries that are still on the plants. After a week we should be back to having a plentiful supply again. Thanks -Ethan Lineberger
